This week, TJ is out of town, and due to Ben and Clif’s last-minute struggle with the mixing board, he isn’t able to call in—leaving us only with a cryptic text: “I’m gonna be late calling in. On a horse.” So, it’s just Steve, Clif, and Ben holding down the fort.
The guys kick things off by discussing Vintage, a local wine bar that recently changed hands, moving from one friend to another. Steve then dives into the origins of his childhood nickname, Grieby, which was given to him by his brother and yet, despite the stickers on his car advertising it, is rarely used.
Clif shares an unexpected moment of personal embarrassment when he was called up to receive the SPC 2025 Award for Largest Number of Community Service Hours, turning bright red as he scrambled for words.
To wrap things up, the crew samples a selection of foreign snacks, including Ube-flavored mochi, seaweed potato sticks, and crispy rice snacks. Some were hits, others… less so, but all made for an interesting taste test.
