This week we had the Shamrock Lodge packed to the rafters with guests to kick off Autumn, I guess.
We met a new friend through Krystie Foxx, Laurin Manning, the co-host of the Southernish Podcast. (The check cleared)
We sincerely enjoyed having Laurin on the show. In spite of Clif’s worries that she would be embarrassed or disgusted, she fit right in like a member of the family.
Layla and Monica also made a reluctant appearance.
And just a caveat: Clif is not sober and acts like an ass and he sincerely apologizes.
Steve starts us off with an emotional breakdown and it goes about as well as you would expect.
Then Laurin has to follow that up and describe her new podcast.
We transition into memories of Hugo due to the announcement that Hurricane Matthew had intensified.
Two words: Big Snatch
Krystie tells us a funny story about naming her dog.
Then we describe our first cars…And Steve has to be muted. Multiple times.
Two more words: Truffle Butter
We attempt to read the lyrics and only Steve can do it.
Break time and a classic commercial.
At some point we figure out that Laurin and Steve would make the perfect Love Connection.
We announce the skits that we will be performing at the Black Creek Arts Cabaret on November 18th.
